Historic success for the grand exhibition “Watch Art” Tokyo 2023
The Japanese public offered a very warm welcome to the Patek Philippe grand exhibition “Watch Art” Tokyo 2023. From 10 to 25 June 2023, this unprecedented event saw some 60,000 visitors immersing themselves in the world of the last independent family-owned Genevan watch manufacture, in a decor of more than 2,500 square meters transporting them to Geneva and taking them behind the scenes of Patek Philippe itself.
Singapore 2019
After 2012 in Dubai, 2013 in Munich, 2015 in London and 2017 in New York, Singapore has now been chosen by Patek Philippe as the venue for the fifth exhibition that offers in-depth insights into its universe and its creations.
From Saturday, September 28 until Sunday, October 13, 2019, collectors, aficionados of watchmaking artistry and the general public can immerse themselves in the world of Patek Philippe as if they were personally visiting the historic salons on Rue du Rhône in Geneva, the manufacture in Plan-les-Ouates, or the Patek Philippe Museum. It is a unique opportunity to cast a backstage glance at the last independent family-owned Genevan watchmaking company.
New York 2017
“The Art of Watches Grand Exhibition New York 2017” that took place from July 13 to 23, 2017, was a huge success. Some 27,500 visitors convened at Cipriani 42nd Street to cast a backstage glance at the last independent, family-owned watch manufacturing company – almost as if they had been magically beamed to the interiors of the historic salons on Rue du Rhône, the manufacture in Plan-les-Ouates, and the Patek Philippe Museum in Geneva.
The event gave the public the opportunity to admire 450 timepieces, among them 128 exhibits that by exception were on loan from the Patek Philippe Museum, and a selection of historic timepieces with USA-related backgrounds.
London 2015
The Patek Philippe Watch Art Grand Exhibition London 2015 was a resounding success. Open to the public from May 27 until June 7, 2015 at the Saatchi Gallery, the event attracted more than 42,500 visitors over the course of 12 days. It was a great opportunity for the public to learn more about the history of watchmaking and the world of Patek Philippe.
Watch enthusiasts were able to deepen their knowledge of fine horology and the general public had the opportunity to ignite their passion for watchmaking and artisanship by completely immersing themselves in the world of the last independent Geneva watch manufacturer.
Munich 2013
The Patek Philippe Grand Exhibition “KunstWerkUhr” was recently held at the Kunsthalle der HypoVereinsbank, a famous art gallery in Munich, from the 17th to 27th October 2013.
More than twice as many visitors attended as had been anticipated, including VIP and press visitors. “The positive feedback we received from visitors was extremely rewarding”, said Yannick Michot, Director of Deutsche Patek Philippe.
